Major Factors Contributing in the Performance of Female Teachers at District Swabi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore the factors affecting performance of female teachers at secondary level in district swabi. The research was descriptive study about the topic, exploring the Factors Affecting Performance of Female Teachers at Secondary Level in District Swabi. The objectives of the study were to explore the perception to teachers, students, and principals regarding the factors affecting performance of female teachers. Research questions were: 1. what according to teachers’ are the factors that affect teachers teaching performance at secondary level? 2-What according to students,’ are the factors that affect teachers teaching performance at secondary level? 3-What will be its possible remedial solution? 4-What are the factors that affect female teacher’s performance according to principals? The results of study showed that the factor subject mastery was at the top Level and the attitude toward the students was at the bottom level. The teachers presented the subject matter of the lessons with keen interest but their attention toward the students in the class environment was poor. Thus the teachers should divert full attention toward the students to make teaching learning process fruitful.
