Problems Faced by Male Primary School Teachers in District Charsadda, Pakistan.

Abstract

The study was descriptive in nature about the investigation of the problems faced by male teachers in district charsada, Pakistan. The main objectives of the study were:1) To find out the real problems of primary school teachers. 2) To find out the causes of the problems of primary School teachers. 3) To suggest reasonable solution of those problems. Research Questions of the Study were: 1) what are the real problems faced by primary school teachers.2) what are causes of the problems of primary School teachers? 3) What would be remedial suggestions for the solutions of those problems? The population of this research study is the Government Boys primary school teachers at District Charsadda. Government Boys Primary school teachers of a union council have been taken as a sample of this study. The most common techniques of descriptive study include: Questionnaire and In depth Interview The researcher developed a comprehensive questionnaire and presented to the subjects for collection of data. With the responses of the questionnaire, the data were tabulated, analyzed and interpreted for the conclusion of the problems of Government boys’ primary school teachers at District Charsadda. Majority of primary school teachers are facing difficulties and problems in receiving their arrears and other bills in time due to corrupt processing system. Department head and officers are remained under pressured form politicians. Primary schools teachers are not satisfied with the present curriculum. Majority of Primary School Teachers complained that Government has no interest in teachers’ affairs, problems and issues. Government and Government functionaries may take keen interest in teachers’ affairs, problems and issues because education department is the parent department for all departments. Teachers especially primary school teacher is the key figure in this regard, so special attention may be given to these officials to ensure high literacy rate and quality education. High literacy rate and quality education are directly related with primary school teachers which leads to sensible generation production.
